Survey Summary - Key Findings

The Department of Research & Statistical Services has launched a project intended to examine the health and economic burden of off-the-job (OTJ) injury on American businesses and workers. The ultimate goal is to provide employers with a set of practical guidelines for injury surveillance and promoting off-the-job safety and health in the workplace. (See Off-the-Job Survey).

Mold in Indoor Environments

The most recent issue of Injury Insights features a review article on research pertaining to mold and its health effects. The study, Mold in Indoor Environments: A Critical Review of Research Studies (.pdf 78k), is based on a recently published review of the toxic effects of molds associated with the production of mycotoxins and their negative health effects in indoor environments.
